Live from the Floor of the Draft!

A lot of action and excitement in New York as the Bengals are soon to be announced as "officially" on the clock. There is also a lot of potential movement, and here is some breaking news on the Texans, Saints, Dolphins and Ravens.

It looks more and more like the Patriots will trade both of their first round picks and a later choice to the Houston Texans, enabling them to select Dewayne Robertson with the draft's third pick.

We spoke with somebody from the Saints this morning who told us they have become increasingly frustrated with Bill Parcells and the Cowboys, as the asking price by Dallas for New Orleans to move into the fifth spot has been too much. They are switching their focus to the Vikings in order to acquire Marcus Trufant, but that may be difficult.

Word is the Ravens will move up to pick number seven, swapping choices with Minnesota and giving away a middle round choice in order to secure the services of Byron Leftwich.

Finally, the Dolphins are working the phones hard as they try to move into the early reaches of round two in order to draft either George Foster or Wayne Hunter.
