Maddox named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

<b>PITTSBURGH -</b> Following a 260-yard, three touchdown effort against Baltimore Sunday, Steelers quarterback Tommy Maddox was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week Wednesday.

Maddox, whose 134.3 quarterback rating leads the lead, won the award for the first time in his career. Other players honored were Buffalo linebacker Takeo Spikes as the defensive player of the week, and Tennessee punter-turned-placekicker Craig Hentrich.
