That was the case at least for the guys who the team has on its injury list, as Plaxico Burress, Jay Riemersma, Clint Kriewaldt, Marvel Smith and James Farrior all took the day off Wednesday.
Of the guys who the team lists on its injury list, only Todd Fordham practiced Wednesday.
"They're all day-to-day," said head coach Bill Cowher. "We'll see
how it goes tomorrow."
Burress, who has a hip flexor injury, said earlier in the day he
plans to play Sunday.
"I'm glad to hear that," Cowher said.
In other news Wednesday, the team released safety Russell Stuvaints from its practice squad and signed offensive tackle
Pears was with Miami in training camp.
