Just like the NFL players, women will hit the football field for their own training camp. They will learn the finer points of passing, receiving, running, blocking, kicking and defensive techniques from Pittsburgh Steelers alumni Matt Bahr, Jon Kolb, Louis Lipps, Mike Merriweather, Edmund Nelson and Mike Wagner and current Steelers long-snapper Mike Schneck.
Participants pre-registered for the camp, which kicks off at 8 a.m. with on-field activities running from 9 a.m. until 11:30. Participants will enjoy an autograph session with Steelers alumni, watch the Steelers' 2003 highlight film, "Test of Character," and then return to the field to watch the Steelers practice. The day will conclude with dinner and an autograph session with current players.
