One on One with Steelers WR Antwaan Randle El

GVB: Nice win down in Miami under adverse conditions. A lot of good things happened in that game.

Randle El: Oh yeah, a lot of good things happened. We just have to carry it over, stack games on top of each other: win after win, and push on from there.

GVB: What about young Ben, the quarterback? A lot of focus on him and he did what he had to do to win the ball game.

Randle El: You're exactly right. That's what you have to do as a quarterback: you put the team into a good position to make plays and when you get the opportunity to get down there and try to score, you make sure you make good throws. I think he had that one mistake early on, when he had the interception. I think that was just a case of he wanted to have a completion on his first pass attempt, but then he came out and played a pretty good game.

GVB: It looks like he likes to spread the ball around a little bit, too. The ball's been coming your way a little bit.

Randle El: Yeah, it has been. That's pretty good. At the same time, Hines winds up with nine catches, Plax winds up with two or three, so the ball's being spread around. As a receiver, you look forward to that.

GVB: Keys to victory against the Bengals coming up in this ball game. They're a little nicked up defensively and I know you guys want to try to exploit that if you can.

Randle El: We do, but at the same time we have to look at ourselves. If we don't come out and protect the ball and reduce the penalties that's going to make it harder for us and easier for them, so that's the thing we want to focus on.

GVB: Antwaan, I appreciate it.

Randle El: Thank you.
