We played a good game: on the offensive side of the ball, the defensive side of the ball, the special teams, so we had a good game overall. I think the biggest thing is stacking them on top of the other. It's take two next week when we take on the Eagles.
GVB: You mentioned all facets, and it was. All facets of the game seemed to be working.
Randle El: It was, and that's what you want. If you can get all facets of the game working and don't turn the ball over, and try to minimize mistakes and get turnovers like our defense did, you're more than likely to come out on top.
GVB: At one point at the start of the second half they had one yard rushing. That's unbelievable.
Randle El: That's the unbelievable play of our defense. That's what we need. We need that out of them every week. They came out and played the way they did. We let it loose a little with the emotions and the excitement this Sunday and we just let it loose.
GVB: The running game was there and that was a big key, too.
Randle El: Yeah, the running game helped. You get the running game going and you can do a whole lot of things with the pass. That's what we did. They came out with all-out blitzes a couple of times and we burned them pretty good. But they wouldn't go down, they kept trying to fight back and keep going, but we had enough to hold them off and win the game.
GVB: Thanks a lot.
Randle El: Thank you.
