Q&A with Keydrick Vincent

GVB: This team is coming down the stretch and right now you're battling for position in the playoffs. New England is still out there. I guess it's who's going to blink coming down the stretch.

Vincent: Yeah, every game from here on out is a big game for us. We need this win and we just gotta get it done.

GVB: Tell me about Eli Manning at Ole Miss. He had a great career there but is struggling a little bit as a rookie, but he's certainly got a pedigree.

Vincent: Yeah, Eli's one of those players who's very smart. He's struggling now but I think that in a couple more years he'll put everything together. He's just one of those guys. He's probably thinking too much now because he's very smart, he's a student of the game. He'll put it together eventually. I hope it's just not this week.

GVB: It's got to be interesting going up against an old teammate like that. This team…so many guys have stepped into the breach and you're going to have guys stepping in this week, too.

Vincent: Yeah, it's big, too. That's how you win games in the NFL. You're gonna have injuries and guys are gonna have to be ready to play.

GVB: What can you tell me about what's going on with the running back situation? Duce has been great for you this year, but Bettis, what a year he's had, and you have to love the touchdown pass.

Vincent: It's one of those things. Duce is coming back from an injury and he's missed a couple of weeks. Things aren't going to be the same for him. The Bus is just getting the job done. He's fresh. Like I told him today, he looked good yesterday in practice. He had a good practice yesterday. He's an amazing guy. I think he's fresher. Things are going to happen right. Duce will get more reps the better he gets, so I'm happy to have both of them.

GVB: Thanks a lot, Keydrick.
