Stories broke across multiple papers this morning that the Steelers are pursuing record-holding Lions WR Herman Moore. Moore was released by the Lions earlier this week in a salary cap move, and has been contacted by the Steelers, Colts and Broncos. Pittsburgh will be his first visit, and Moore is reportedly intent on getting the chance to be as involved on the field as possible.

Moore holds the record for most receptions in a season (125 in 1995), but has done little over the last several years due to injuries. Despite his recent medial problems, the 32-year-old Moore feels that he can play for several more seasons. Moore will be examined by team physicians when he is in town on Tuesday.
