It was a quiet morning on Day 2 of the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp here at Saint Vincent College. But that in itself was somewhat newsworthy since the first session was a special teams practice.
Why is quiet different for a special teams practice?

Maybe somebody told him to tone things down a bit.
Polamalu looks very close to returning from his hamstring strain. He was jogging and sprinting and also played around a bit with a soccer ball.
The quarterbacks played a target throwing game with coach Kenny Anderson, throwing the ball into a target net.
Anderson showed he can still throw the ball with the kids, hitting the target as consistently as anyone.
Bloom and Marvin Allen were handling kickoff returns, but again, they were working more on coverage than they were returns.
