Peyton Manning activated from PUP list

The Indianapolis Colts have activated star quarterback Peyton Manning from the physically unable to perform list following his second offseason neck surgery in as many years.

According to the Colts, Manning will take part in practice on a limited basis.
They said his workload will be "scripted and controlled," describing his return to limited football activity as standard procedure in the team's rehab protocol.
The Colts obviously still have some doubt as to whether Manning will be available for the first game since they signed Kerry Collins to a $4 million contract.
