Bradford injures finger

St. Louis Rams star quarterback Sam Bradford injured the index finger on his throwing hand, and there are concerns about nerve damage. Bradford downplayed the injury to St. Louis reporters.

"It's not crazy painful," Bradford said following the Rams' 31-13 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles. "I guess I don't have the motion that I'd like to have with it right now. I was trying to move it. "I couldn't really move it. I tried to throw a couple balls and just couldn't get much pressure on it. Took X-rays and they were negative. So that's a positive thing. So I'm looking forward to just treating it, getting back."

Added Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo: "It appears to be some kind of nerve issue." Meanwhile, Pro Bowl running back Steven Jackson injured his right leg.

It's unclear how long he's going to be out.

There is concern about wide receiver Danny Amendola's left dislocated elbow. For more coverage of the NFL go to Follow me on Twiter: @RavensInsider
