Will Terrell Owens play again?

Unemployed NFL veteran wide receiver Terrell Owens insists he's ready to return soon from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

"A month or less, I give you that," Owens, 37, told ESPN. "The knee is great."

However, it remains unclear if NFL teams are interested in the six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver at this time.

"I'm going to come back," Owens said.

"I'm not gonna waste your time, so I wouldn't expect you to waste my time. When I step on the field, you know what you gonna get."

Owens was productive last season with the Cincinnati Bengals, although still prone to drops. He produced nine touchdowns and 983 passing yards.

Owens could use an NFL gig considering that he had experienced a financial issue.

During the interview, Owens said: "I have a financial advisor who has misappropriated funds."

As for now, though, Owens needs to get fully healthy and find a team that needs a wide receiver before he can get back in the NFL.

At this point, his job prospects remain highly uncertain despite his many accomplishments in the game.
