Aaron Curry traded to Raiders

The Seattle Seahawks have unloaded former first-round linebacker Aaron Curry, trading him to the Seattle Seahawks, according to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer. The compensation for the Seahawks are a pair of draft picks, one in 2012 and another in 2013.

Selected fourth overall out of Wake Forest, Curry didn't live up to expectations.

Curry's contract was renegotiated in August, taking away $5 million in guaranteed money next year to become a free agent after the 2012 season.

Curry is likely to receive a contract extension from the Raiders. Not to mention a fresh start in a new city.
