Seahawks signed linebacker Heath Farwell

The Seattle Seahawks signed linebacker Heath Farwell following a workout, cutting running back Allen Bradford to create room for him. A former USC player, Bradford was claimed off waivers last week from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Drafted in the sixth round out of USC, Bradford is a 5-foot-11, 242-pounder who played for Seahawks coach Pete Carroll for the Trojans.

Farwell is a former Minnesota Vikings draft pick who was cut on Sept. 3. He made the NFC Pro Bowl squad last year for special teams. For more coverage of the NFL, go to Follow me on Twitter: @RavensIns
