Raiders to deal with Rolando McClain in house

Troubled Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain played in Sunday's defeat to the Miami Dolphins despite being arrested days earlier on four misdemeanor charges, including an accusation of firing a gun near the alleged victim's ear. McClain was charged in his Alabama hometown with illegal discharge of a firearm.

Raiders coach Hue Jackson is standing behind McClain after meeting with him to discuss the incident.

"The information that I gathered myself in dealing with him is I feel the player has an opportunity to move beyond this," Jackson said. "There's no question he knows I'm disappointed with some things that occurred, and I will take care of that in-house."

McClain led the Raiders with eight tackles with one tackle for a loss.

"When the league makes its determination, then I'll make my determination," Jackson said. "Until then, I'm going to trust my player. He knows there's a part of it I don't agree with by any stretch of the imagination."
