Bills sign Rian Lindell to new contract

The Buffalo Bills have been busy shoring up their special teams for the future. Days after signing long snapper Garrison Sanborn to a three-year, $3.21 million contract, the team has signed kicker Rian Lindell to a deal averaging $3 million annually. It's believed to be at least a three-year deal.

Lindell, 35, ended last season on injured reserve with a shoulder injury as Dave Rayner finished the season kicking for the Bills. Lindell made 13 of 15 field goals last season. Overall, Lindell has hit 262 of 324 field goals.
