Chiefs keep Jim Zorn as QB coach

The Kansas City Chiefs retained quarterbacks coach Jim Zorn as well as assistant head coach Maurice Carthon and promoted Nick Sirianni to receivers coach. The Chiefs also hired Jack Bicknell Jr. as offensive line coach, Jim Bob Cooter as offensive quality control, Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator), Tom McMahon as special teams coach and Derius Swinton as special teams quality control.

The Chiefs also held onto Mike Clark as strength and conditioning coach, Gary Gibbs as linebackers coach, Bernie Parmalee as tight ends coach, Anthony Pleasant as defensive line coach, Brent Salazar, assistant strength & conditioning, Otis Smith, defensive quality control, Emmitt Thomas, secondary, Adam Zimmer, defensive assistant/assistant linebackers.

"We were able to add a handful of strong additions to an already talented group of coaches, and I am excited to get started," Crennel said. "I am looking forward to sitting down as a staff, evaluating what we have, what we need, and moving forward towards the 2012 season."
