Kamerion Wimbley to the Titans

Former Oakland Raiders outside linebacker Kamerion Wimbley has agreed to a five-year, $35 million contract with the Tennessee Titans, a league source confirmed. The contract includes $13.5 million guaranteed. The story was first reported by Adam Caplan of Sirius NFL radio.

Wimbley, 28, immediately became one of the top pass rushers available once he was cut by the Raiders last week due to salary-cap reasons. He has 369 career tackles, 42 1/2 sacks and eight forced fumbles.

The Titans haven't gotten much production out of former first-round defensive end Derrick Morgan.

Coached by Romeo Crennel, the Cleveland Browns' head coach when they drafted Wimbley in the first round out of Florida State, the Kansas City Chiefs are expected to also display interest in Wimbley.

Wimbley had 63 tackles, seven sacks and one forced fumble last season.
