Rams re-sign Kellen Clemens

Backup quarterback Kellen Clemens rejoined the St. Louis Rams on a one-year contract. The former New York Jets starter started three games last season when starter Sam Bradford was sidelined. Last season, he passed for 546 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He completed 52.7 percent of his throws.

For his career, Clemens has passed for 2,232 yards, seven touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He has started 12 games and played in 28 games.
