Vince Young gets chance with Bills

The Buffalo Bills will try out veteran free agent quarterback Vince Young on Wednesday, the team announced.

Young struggled in three starts and six game appearances last season for the Philadelphia Eagles, passing for four touchdowns and nine interceptions and completing 57.9 percent of his throws for 866 yards in relief of starter Michael Vick.

Young is a former Tennessee Titans first-round draft pick who was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2006.

However, the former University of Texas star fell out of favor with Titans coach Jeff Fisher and eventually lost his job in Tennessee.

During his uneven career, Young, 28, has passed for 8,964 yards, 46 touchdowns and 51 interceptions with 40 fumbles, losing 12.
