Bengals sign Wallace Gilberry

The Cincinnati Bengals signed veteran free agent defensive end Wallace Gilberry, a fifth-year player from Alabama. Gilberry previously played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has 14 career sacks, including a career high seven sacks in 2010 when the Chiefs won the AFC West championship.

He also has career totals of four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, five passes defensed and 46 tackles.

Gilberry takes over the roster spot of defensive end Jamaal Anderson, who was placed on injured reserve. He tore his quadriceps tendon against the Cleveland Browns.
