Donald Driver officially retires

Green Bay Packers receiver Donald Driver officially announced his retirement in front of 1,500 fans, his teammates, coaches, front office personnel and family. The retirement ceremony took place at the atrium at Lambeau Field.

"I told myself I wasn't going to cry today so I'm going to hold the emotion back as much as possible. I love you all so much," Driver told his audience. "It was a tough decision, but my family and I felt it was time for the next chapter in our life."

Driver played 14 NFL seasons after being drafted out of Alcorn State in 1999. With the Packers, he recorded 10,137 yards on 743 reception
