Location: Boyd Anderson (Fla.) Boyd Anderson
What to like: There's a lot to like about Tindal. He's a versatile and athletic football player that can help out a team in a variety of ways.
Tindal was one of the better cornerback prospects that I saw all spring and summer from the state of Florida. He's a true cover corner with very good ball skills. Tindal runs very well and is a long 5-foot-11. He breaks on the ball quickly and is very good in the air. He can go up and high point the football.
While he's not the biggest defensive back out there he will certainly be physical at the point of attack. He's not shy of contact when it comes to taking down a wide receiver or playing in run support.
Tindal also excels on special teams. He returned several kicks and punts for touchdowns this past season. This kid is a good athlete. He has speed and vision to make the big play.
What may be of concern: My main concern regarding Tindal would be his size, or lack of. He's only in the 165-170-pound range and needs to bulk up and add weight. Other than that Tindal needs to work on what most do at the same stage and that's playing with better technique.
Overall analysis: This is a very good pull for the Badgers, as I truly feel he's one of the more under the radar guys from the Sunshine State. I kept waiting for his stock to take off this spring and summer and it just never did. He finally got hot over the past few weeks.
Tindal should give the Wisconsin secondary a big jolt of speed and athleticism. He will compliment Sojourn Shelton (Plantation, Fla.) very well. In fact, he's a big reason why Tindal picked the Badgers. Those two are friends from South Florida.
