Zack Martin has been the cornerstone of Notre Dame's offensive line for the past four seasons. Martin not only set the school record with 50 consecutive starts for the Irish, he was also named the team's offensive lineman of the year four straight years.
After closing his collegiate career with a 29-16 victory over Rutgers in the 2014 Pinstripe Bowl, the 6-foot-4, 305-pounder is ready to make the transition to the NFL.
Martin took the first steps toward that goal this week at the 2014 Reese's Senior Bowl, where he caught up with Scout.com field reporter Rachel Klein. The former Irish lineman talks about his favorite memories of playing at Notre Dame, how he is preparing for the next level, and more in the interview below.
