Pac-12 Conference Career-Record Results…Thomas' school record four touchdowns via kickoff returns are two shy of the conference record of six by Anthony Davis of Southern California (1972-74)…
School Career-Record Results…Thomas holds the school record with four kickoff returns for scores and his average of 25.82 yards per kickoff return rank eleventh…His punt return average of 17.13 yards topped the old Oregon record of 16.16 yards by Cliff Harris (38 for 614 yards, 2009-11)…His 1,885 yards generated on kickoff returns topped the old mark of 1,868 yards by Steve Brown (78 returns, 1979-82)…Ranks fourth in school history with 278 points, placing behind LaMichael James (348; 2009-11), Jared Siegel (323; 2001-04) and Kenjon Barner (300; 2009-12)…His 5,345 all-purpose yards are surpassed by only LaMichael James (5,869) and Kenjon Barner (5,848) on the school record list. The only other Duck to amass 5,000 all-purpose yards in a career was Derek Loville (5,223; 1986-89).

OREGON TRACK
Thomas also lettered on the Oregon outdoor track team as a sprinter…Named a 2013 NCAA Division I All-American as the anchor of Oregon's 4x100 relay team, he helped that unit clock at 39.59 at the Pac-12 Outdoor Finals…He has a personal best of 10.31 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.01 seconds in the 200 meters at the 2013 Oregon Preview…He was also member of the 2011-12 outdoor team, helping the 4x100 meter squad finish second at the Pac-12 Finals (40.09)…Joined track team following the conclusion of spring football practice and anchored the 4x100 meter squad to victory in 40.79. That relay saw dramatic improvement at the Pac-12 Championships where he anchored the quartet that went 40.11 in the preliminaries to advance to the final and then truly impressed in the final with a runner-up showing in 40.09. That was the eighth fastest time in school history… Also ran the 200 meters at the league meet, clocking a season best 21.26 in the preliminary round…During the 2011-12 outdoor season, he also had personal bests of 10.65 in the 100 meters (Oregon Twilight) and 21.26 in the 200 meters (Pac-12 Championships).

INJURY REPORT
2011 Season…A lower leg injury forced Thomas to the sidelines during the UCLA clash.
2013 Season…Missed most of the California game after he sprained his right ankle returning the opening kickoff and the injury forced him to miss the Colorado, Washington and Washington State contests.

HIGH SCHOOL
Thomas attended Crenshaw (Los Angeles, Cal.) High School, playing football for head coach Robert Garrett…Competed as a running back, defensive back, and wide receiver…During his junior season, Thomas produced 902 yards with twelve touchdowns on just 81 carries (11.14 ypc), as he pulled in eleven passes for 204 yards with three scores to help the Cougars compile a 14-1 record, ranking 13th in the state…The All-Los Angeles City Section and All-California Division South-2 performer also made sixty tackles with four sacks, three forced fumbles, seven pass deflections and a pair of interceptions in 2009… As a senior, he collected 359 yards with four scores on sixteen catches, returned a kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown, scoring twice on five interceptions for 122 yards. He tallied 42 tackles, gained 1,927 all-purpose yards and scored 162 points while rushing 114 times for 1,299 yards (11.4 ypc) and eighteen touchdowns in 2010…That performance was a major reason Crenshaw High recorded a 12-2 record en route to capturing the 2010 CIF Los Angeles Section state title…Closed out his prep career playing in the U.S. Army All-American game after receiving a five-star recruit status from Scout.com…Considered the top cornerback prospect by Scout.com and 247Sports.com…Rated as the second-best athlete by Tom Lemming of CBS College Sports and named MVP by the City Section coaches, adding All-City first-team on defense and City Section Player of the Year honors…Recipient of the Glenn Davis Award, which is presented by the Los Angeles Times to best high school player in the Los Angeles area…In addition to his success on the gridiron, Thomas was a standout performer in track at Crenshaw…Ran the fastest 200 meters in the nation by a prep player in the spring of 2010, clocking 20.61 seconds…Also won the 100 meters at the CIF Los Angeles Section meet with a time of 10.57 seconds…Was a two-time L.A. City champion in the 100 meters and once in the 200 for Crenshaw…Won the 2009 city 100-meter title as a sophomore in 10.60 and then lowered that to a prep-best 10.57 in winning as junior in 2010…Best legal time in the 200, 21.01, came in the preliminaries of the California State meet…Also anchored the 4x100 meter relay squad that was third in the state in 2010 (41.30)…Ran a prep best of 50.10 in the 400 at the 2009 Mt. SAC Relays.

PERSONAL
Thomas is majoring in Communication, with a minor in Family and Human Services…Was a "favorite" of his first football coach, when he began playing. As a twelve-year-old, he was a Pop Warner Football legend while playing for the Crenshaw Bears in Snoop Dogg's Snoop Youth Football League. Snoop Dogg claims to have given Thomas the nickname "Black Mamba", though Sports Illustrated has written that another coach in the league first identified Thomas to Snoop Dogg as the "Black Mamba".
