Bills Draft Preview

Here's a look at the moves the Bills have made this off-season and their needs going into draft.

Buffalo Bills
2014 draft picks:
1st round (9), 2(41), 3(73), 4(109), 5(149), 7(224)

The Bills went 6-10 in their first season under coach Doug Marrone. They made some bold moves over the past year, none bigger than drafting E.J. Manuel with their first pick last April. They just need to keep him healthy to see what they really have in this signal caller. Is he really a franchise guy or the same inconsistent player that he was at Florida State?

Buffalo was also pretty active in free agency, landing several established veterans like wide receiver Mike Williams and linebackers Keith Rivers and Brandon Spikes.

1. Offensive Line

The Bills put on a band aid here and signed Chris Williams. They are still looking for the answer to the departure of Andy Levitre last off-season? If not, there are some good guards that can be had in rounds two and three. Don't be surprised if the Bills go offensive tackle with their first round pick.

2. Wide Receiver
Marrone wants to be the big play Bills. They drafted well here last year and traded for Mike Williams. Still, they will likely add another wide receiver. Will they do it with their first pick or wait until day two?

3. Tight End
There are plenty of arm chair GMs that are mocking tight end Eric Ebron to Buffalo with their first pick. I don't see that happening at No. 9. Maybe they move back like last season or perhaps they wait and grab one later.

4. Defensive End
This is one of the areas the Bills didn't address whatsoever in free agency. They will sprint to the podium if Khalil Mack is sitting there when they are up at No. 9. That scenario is unlikely. Still, look for Buffalo to address this need at some point in the mid-rounds.

5. Running Back
Just remember that C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson are both in their final year of their respective contracts.
