'DG-B' to Enter NFL Draft

OU head coach informed the media on Tuesday that Dorial Green-Beckham intends to enter the 2015 NFL draft.

Scout's former overall number one prospect in the Class of 2012 -- Dorial Green-Beckham -- intends to bypass his remaining college eligibility at the University of Oklahoma, and enter the NFL Draft.

OU head coach Bob Stoops informed the media of this development on Tuesday during his end of the season press conference.

Stoops informed that DG-B's decision was reached last week.

"Dorial informed me about a week ago that he intends to enter the draft," Stoops reported. "When he informed me I thought he had put it out -- he must not have."

Stoops and the university took a chance bringing in the former five-star wide receiver, but he will head to the league before ever suiting up in the Sooners' crimson and cream.

"Obviously he could have been a big piece (of the offense), but it didn't work out that way," Stoops informed.

"I’m happy that this helped him move forward in a positive direction."

Before transferring to Oklahoma Green-Beckham had a solid on the field college career his two years at Missouri. Racking up 1,278 yards and 17 touchdowns, leading the SEC with 12 touchdown receptions in 2013.

He is listed at 6'6, 225 pounds.
