Kansas City Training Camp Notes

a few unexpected sights are being viewed in the training camp of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Trent Green looks good and Priest Holmes is doing more than going through the motions.

Kansas City Chiefs notes:

A notorious slow starter in training camp, starting quarterback Trent Green has looked sharp thus far in training camp. Consistently hitting receivers in stride, Green is showing a consistency that he has lacked at times throughout his career, and especially at an early time as training camp.

Starting fullback Tony Richardson suffered broken thumb and will be limited in practice.

Rookie second-round pick, linebacker Kawika Mitchell is limited in practice due to a strained hamstring.

Running back Priest Holmes isn't heeding the advice of the team well, wanting to limited the numbers of plays that he participates in. Rather than participate in only 25 plays, Holmes has been easily exceeding the coaching staff's magic number. Additionally, as for the light or no-contact rule on Holmes, he has been banging with the defense.
