Undefeated Panthers lead NFL with 10 Pro Bowl picks

The Carolina Panthers had an NFL-best 10 players voted to the Pro Bowl on Tuesday. Full breakdown inside.

The Carolina Panthers are the only undefeated team left and they were rewarded with an NFL-best 10 players voted into the 2016 Pro Bowl.

Pro Bowl players are voted on by fans, players and coaches – each segment counting toward one-third of the total.

The Pro Bowl will be played in Honolulu, Hawaii on Jan. 31, starting at 7 p.m. Eastern.

Players will be assigned to teams through the Pro Bowl Draft with Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receivers Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice serving as the NFL Legends captains for the all-star game.

Of those named on Tuesday, 25 are first-time all-stars with three rookies – Rams RB Todd Gurley, Seahawks return man Tyler Lockett and Chiefs CB Marcus Peters.

Twenty-six teams had at least one player selected to the Pro Bowl and 21 clubs had multiple players chosen. Each player on the winning Pro Bowl team receives $58,000, while each player on the losing squad earns $29,000.

Additional players will be named as injury replacements and fill-ins for those who are in Super Bowl 50.
