New Orleans Saints players Cameron Jordan and Drew Brees have made the list of the NFL’s Top 100 Players chosen by the players.
Defensive end Cameron Jordan just made the list at No. 99. Jordan has been with the Saints for the last five seasons after playing college football at California and being drafted in the first round in 2011. He has started all but one game during his tenure with New Orleans making a total of 152 solo tackles, 241 tackles overall, 39 sacks and 1 interception during his career. Last season, Jordan made 32 solo tackles, 45 tackles overall and ten sacks.
Veteran Drew Brees makes the list at No. 30 for the second year in a row. Throughout his 15 years in the league, Brees has racked up 60,903 passing yards, 5,365 completions, 428 touchdowns and 205 interceptions. Brees, a two-time offensive player of the year winner, was named the Super Bowl MVP after winning the Super Bowl over the Colts in the 2009 season. Last season, Brees threw for 4,870 yards with a 68.3 completion rate, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The Saints finished last season 7-9 with no shot at the playoffs.
