The New York Giants Will Change the Team's Home Uniform Combination

The New York Giants Announce Changes to the Team's Home Uniform Combo for the 2016-2017 Season

After 16 seasons of the signature home uniform combination of royal blue jerseys and grey pants, the New York Giants have opted to go for a brighter look during the 2016-2017 season.

The Giants announced Monday that the team will wear the blue jerseys with white pants for each home game this season. The team wore white pants twice last season; once in a 32-21 win over the Redskins and again in a 27-26 loss to the Patriots.

The Giants will continue to wear the grey pants with their white jerseys for most away games. Teams will wear special “color rush” uniforms during each Thursday night matchup this season. The Giants travel to Philadelphia during week 16 for Thursday night action. Those uniforms have yet to be released.

The Team released this video via Instagram Monday: After four years of not making the playoffs, maybe the Giants are hoping the new uniform combo can brighten this season. The Giants open the regular season on September 11 in Dallas.
