Bill Belichick gets annoyed when asked about Tom Brady

Bill Belichick mutters 'Jesus Christ' in response to a particularly ill-conceived question.

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick doesn't feel like he should have to confirm that Tom Brady will be the team's starting quarterback upon returning from suspension.

Brady was suspended four games for his role in the Deflategate scandal, which means Jimmy Garoppolo will be the Patriots' starting quarterback for the first four weeks of the season. A reporter at a recent press conference asked Belichick what Garoppolo could do to earn the full-time starting job, and here's how he responded:

"Jesus Christ" seems like an appropriate response. Belichick usually seems annoyed by reporters and press conferences, but this takes it to a whole new level.

In the reporter's defense, Belichick did replace an injured Drew Bledsoe just two games into a ten-year contract with a young, unproven quarterback back in 2001. The young quarterback was Tom Brady, who played well enough to secure the job and went on to win the Super Bowl.

However, Brady is one of the best quarterbacks of all-time. He'll be back no matter what Garoppolo does.
