Young fan gives Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls matching friendship necklace

NFL players are used to giving out autographs at training camp. But a young Seahawks fan reversed roles as she gave running back Thomas Rawls a touching gift.

Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls had a double dosage of good news on Sunday. Along with being activated from the PUP list, Rawls received a heartfelt gift from a young Seattle fan.

The young girl, wearing a Rawls jersey, gave the running back a magnetic necklace that matched her own. Rawls seemed genuinely touched by the gesture, thanking and hugging the young fan.

This isn't the first time Rawls has had a moment like this. Last year, an Instagram video surfaced of another fan showing immense excitement after receiving a Rawls jersey for Christmas.

Rawls, who tore ankle ligaments a little over a week before the video, was touched by the fan's excitement, and reached out to her. Rawls invited the girl and her family to Seahawks facilities, showing her around and spending quality time with the fan.

Rawls' caption:

Thank you Sophie for helping me get out of my bed when I felt I had no energy, your video gave me so much life and I'm truly grateful of the opportunity of meeting you!! Your tears of joy were astonishing. When holding you our bodies shook with nervousness, we both squeezed even harder and that a feeling We'll never forget!!

Rawls performed well as a rookie, racking up 830 yards before his injury. With the retirement of Marshawn Lynch, Rawls will compete for the starting job heading into this season.
