Flashback: Dak Prescott shreds defenses at Haughton (La.) High

Dak Prescott looked like a man among boys in high school. See his highlight video.

Dak Prescott has emerged as a surprise contender for Rookie of the Year, but any who watched him at Haughton (La.) High School knew he was special.

In 2010, Scout rated the future Mississippi State Bulldog and Dallas Cowboy as a three-star, with the following analysis:

Prescott is a big guy – in the 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-3, 220-225 pound range – with good arm strength and good enough wheels to hurt a defense when he gets out of the pocket. Getting more consistent with his release and footwork is something that will help him when he gets to the next level and has to make a wider variety of throws. Prescott is an accurate passer in the short to intermediate game and reads defenses well.

Check out Prescott's junior year highlights above for the Buccaneers, when he threw 30 TDs and rushed for 670 yards en route to a 1-AAAA District championship.
