Tom Brady’s Super Bowl jersey recovered

The NFL has recovered the jersey worn by Tom Brady during his latest Super Bowl win.

The jersey worn by Tom Brady in the New England Patriots’ win over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI has been found, the NFL announced on Monday morning.

Brady’s jersey went missing sometime after the game and has been the subject of speculation for the two-plus months since the game was completed and Brady won the MVP award for that game.

In a statement from the NFL, the league said cooperation from the Patriots’ security team, the FBI and other law enforcement authorities helped lead to the recovery of the jersey, along with the jersey that Brady wore in the Patriots’ win over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX two years earlier.

The NFL said the two jerseys were found in the possession of a “credentialed member of the international media.”

The NFL referred other questions about the jersey to the FBI.
