had a 34-yard interception and two passes defensed. "I only took one chance," he
said. "It was on the pass I picked. Kurt (Warner) loves that pattern and I
thought it was just about time for it."
-- Both of the Giants'
power running backs, Dorsey Levens and Ron Dayne, were placed on the Game
Inactive list and both were annoyed. Levens was more vocal about his
displeasure, questioning why the Giants signed him if they didn't plan to use
him. Levens was a moderately expensive UFA but lost his job as backup to Barber
to little Delvin (5-7, 195) Joyce, a second-year player.
