Giants Tuesday Tidbits

News and notes on the New York Giants.

-- LT Luke Petitgout (back spasms) underwent an MRI and all was negative, meaning he is expected to play Monday night vs. Dallas.
-- LG Rich Seubert (groin) missed just one play and while sore, will be a definite participant next Monday night.
-- MLB Nick Greisen (hamstring) missed the St. Louis game but has healed sufficiently to make him probable for Monday night.
-- SS Omar Stoutmire led the team with 10 tackles, had a 34-yard interception and two passes defensed. "I only took one chance," he said. "It was on the pass I picked. Kurt (Warner) loves that pattern and I thought it was just about time for it."
-- Both of the Giants' power running backs, Dorsey Levens and Ron Dayne, were placed on the Game Inactive list and both were annoyed. Levens was more vocal about his displeasure, questioning why the Giants signed him if they didn't plan to use him. Levens was a moderately expensive UFA but lost his job as backup to Barber to little Delvin (5-7, 195) Joyce, a second-year player.
