Eagles Tuesday Tidbits

News and notes on the Philadelphia Eagles.

--CB Bobby Taylor suffered a Planter Fascia strain in his left foot in the first half of Monday night's loss to Tampa Bay. He didn't play at all in the second half and his status for Sunday's game against New England remains uncertain.
--FS Brian Dawkins may miss Sunday's game against the Patriots after spraining his foot late in the Tampa Bay game Monday night. Dawkins was scheduled to have an MRI on Tuesday.
--DE Brandon Whiting is the latest Eagle end to get hurt. He strained his hamstring against Tampa Bay and probably won't play this week against New England. If Whiting can't play, the Eagles are down to two ends - N.D. Kalu and Marco Coleman, who was just signed last weekend.
--RB Correll Buckhalter was missing in action Monday night. Buckhalter, who is arguably the Eagles' best runner, had just one carry against the Bucs. He missed all of last season with a torn ACL after averaging 4.5 yards per carry as a rookie in '01.
--DT Darwin Walker could start at left end Sunday against the Patriots if Brandon Whiting's injured hamstring doesn't allow him to play. The Eagles are down to two healthy ends. Walker took several snaps at both end positions Monday night against the Bucs. If he moves outside, he would be replaced inside by former starter Hollis Thomas.
