Chargers Tuesday Tidbits

News and notes on the San Diego Chargers.

-- CB Sammy Davis (bruised leg) should practice Wednesday.
-- CB Tay Cody (strained hamstring) probably will be rested Wednesday.
-- TE Stephen Alexander (groin) will work Wednesday and go see his first game action on Sunday.
-- Mike Scifres made the team as a kickoff specialist, but was a healthy inactive on Sunday. Steve Christie did OK on kickoffs, which could keep Scifres down this week.
-- LT Damion McIntosh has to rebound after getting beat badly by Vonnie Holliday (three sacks) last week. Trouble is the Chargers don't have any depth here, with two rookies playing the position in Courtney Van Buren and Phil Bogle.
--- RDE Adrian Dingle will hold on to the starting job he wrestled away from Raylee Johnson. Dingle had two sacks in Kansas City.
-- LDE Marcellus Wiley showed some of his old quickness in recovering a fumble last week after a Jerry Wilson sack. Wiley had offseason abdominal surgery.
-- MLB Zeke Moreno didn't have a good game last week, but it's unlikely the Chargers are primed to make a switch. Carlos Polk, a standout on special teams, would get a long look if they do.
