Bills Notes

News and notes surrounding the Buffalo Bills.

-- RB Travis Henry scored three touchdowns which made him a Fantasy Football star, but he endured a miserable day running the ball. He had 21 carries for 26 yards with seven attempts resulting in zero or negative yardage.
-- DE Ryan Denney recorded the first sack of his career, a 9-yard dumping of Jacksonville's Mark Brunell. Denney won the starting left defensive end position in training camp and continues to show improvement both in his pass rush and his run defense.
-- WR Josh Reed bounced back from a poor performance in Week 1 by catching 5 passes for 71 yards and drawing a 42-yard pass interference penalty that helped set up a Buffalo touchdown during a 99-yard drive. Two of his catches converted third-and-long situations, and one was a 24-yarder.
-- CB Antoine Winfield had a monster game. In the first half he blew up four Jaguars played that resulted in zero or negative yardage including a seven-yard loss when he sniffed out a back-side pass to TE Kyle Brady.
-- TE Mark Campbell made a terrific catch on the first play of the game, a 26-yarder down the middle on which he took a vicious hit and still held on to the ball. Campbell has 6 catches for 62 yards in his first two games as a Bill.
