Pittsburgh Tuesday Tidbits

Tuesday news and notes on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

-- LB Joey Porter, who has not played since he was shot Aug. 31 in the buttocks and thigh, is listed as questionable to play Sunday. Coach Bill Cowher said he probably will upgrade him later in the week and that if he plays, he probably will start.
-- C Jeff Hartings is listed as questionable with a left ankle injury. Hartings also has a chronic sore knee that put him on the injury list as probable through the first two games.
-- RB Dante Brown, an undrafted rookie, was signed on Tuesday from the practice squad because of an injury to RB Verron Haynes.
-- RB Verron Haynes is listed as questionable with a left knee injury. Haynes serves as the third-down back but has just 18 yards rushing and four receptions.
-- LB Erik Flowers, signed days before the first game as insurance for injured Joey Porter, was released on Tuesday. He did not play in either game.
