News and notes from week-three of the NFL season.

--G Marco Rivera suffered an injury to his right eye that will require the care of a specialist Monday. He had double vision and left the lineup.
   --WR Donald Driver started and played the entire game. Fears that his neck strain wouldn't be up for contact were unfounded. He caught two passes for 12 yards.
   --WR Robert Ferguson was leg-whipped in the second half and didn't return. Thee was damage to the same medial collateral ligament that has been bothering him for two weeks.
   --FB Nick Luchey sat out with a calf injury but insisted he would play Monday night in Chicago.
   --TE Wesley Walls sat out with a hamstring injury. He was injured in practice Sept. 4 and hasn't been the same since.
   --DE Joe Johnson left with an ankle injury but later returned. He said the injury wasn't serious.
   --DE Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila left with a stinger in the second half but later returned.
