Jaguars Post Game Notes

News and notes from week-three of the NFL season.

--QB Mark Brunell, who passed for just 90 yards, hurt his elbow in the first quarter, but played until late in the game. He said he thinks he'll be ready to play Sunday in Houston.
   --DE Hugh Douglas, who got a $6 million signing bonus, didn't even make the defensive pass stat as he got no sacks and no tackles. He also jumped offsides once and one of them helped keep an Indianapolis scoring drive alive.
   --QB Byron Leftwich came in late in the fourth quarter and led a touchdown drive for the second straight week with the issue decided, but coach Jack Del Ro said that Mark Brunell will remain the starter.
   --LB Keith Mitchell missed the game with a neck injury.
   --DB Kiwaukee Thomas missed the game with a groin injury.
   --LB Eric Westmoreland sat out the game with a knee injury.
   --DB James Trapp played after missing the first two games with an ankle injury. He reinjured the injury and will be evaluated Monday but the Jaguars hope it's not serious.
   --RB Fred Taylor gained 126 yards and went over the 5,000-yard mark but he fumbled once and dropped a pass.
   --WR Matthew Hatchette led the receivers with four catches for 45 yards.
