Chiefs Post Game Notes

News and notes from week-three of the NFL season.

--RB Priest Holmes, despite nursing sore ribs from the Pittsburgh game that made him miss one practice last week, rushed for 89 yards and a 4.9-yard average and caught 4 passes for 67 yards while scoring twice in Kansas City's 42-14 romp over Houston.
--TE Tony Gonzalez had his best day of an injury-limiting season when he caught three balls for 52 yards in the win over Houston. He'd caught only four passes in his previous two games, and was denied his first TD of the year when he was stripped of a ball in the end zone.
--KR Dante Hall scored his second return TD in as many games when he returned a punt 73 yards for a score against Houston. Hall amassed 174 yards from scrimmage (33 rushing, 17 receiving, 73 in punt returns and 51 in kickoff returns) in his home town of Houston.
--WR Eddie Kennison had his best day of the season with a 4-catch, 44-yard, one TD effort against Houston.
--RB Larry Johnson, the Chiefs first-round draft pick, was active for the first time this season against Houston. With Priest Holmes nursing some sore ribs and needing some time off -- he still had 22 touches -- Johnson carried six times for the first 25 yards on his NFL career.
