--Cornerback Chris McAlister did not play after violating team rules. A team source told the Baltimore Sun that McAlister broke curfew Thursday night and missed a team meeting Friday morning. His status for the Kansas City game will likely be determined by a meeting with coach Brian Billick.
"Chris will do whatever he wants this weekend," Billick said before the game.
"He and I will reconvene early next week and go from there."
--Free safety Gary Baxter replaced McAlister and did an admirable job against
Chargers receiver David Boston in the second half. Playing off of Boston, Baxter
limited the big-play receiver to 27 yards on three catches after
--Offensive tackle Orlando Brown played on the
defensive line in goal-line situations. He may also receive some time at
fullback in specialty situations, too.
--Left guard Edwin Mulitalo did not play because of an ankle injury. He will likely be questionable
for the Kansas City Chiefs game.
