Colts Monday Madness

Colts team news and notes.

--OT Ryan Diem suffered a high ankle sprain on the last play of Sunday's game with Jacksonville and will most likely miss several days pf practice. Diem, who had an MRI performed on his ankle Monday, is not expected to play against New Orleans this week.
--OT Adam Meadows suffered a knee sprain against the Jaguars. Meadows' availability for this week's game with the Saints will be determined later in the week.
--There is an outside chance that rookie OT Makoa Freitas could be promoted from the practice squad this week. Freitas, one of the Colts' sixth-round draft picks last spring, would help give Indianapolis better depth along the offensive line in the wake of injuries to Ryan Diem and Adam Meadows.
--DE Dwight Freeney may get the okay to play Sunday at New Orleans. Freeney sat out the Jacksonville game with ankle and abdominal injuries.
--OG Steve Scuillo is expected to play this week despite an on-going problem with turf toe. Scuillo initially suffered the injury two weeks ago but has been able to start against Tennessee and Jacksonville.
-WR Brandon Stokley's status for the New Orleans remains iffy. Stokey has been sidelined with a pulled hamstring since the start of the season.
--RB Edgerrin James has now rushed for 5,176 yards during his career. He has moved past Lenny Moore (5,174) into fourth place on the franchise's all-time list. James' next target is Eric Dickerson with 5,194 yards.
--OT Tarik Glenn made his 99th consecutive start against Jacksonville. That is the second-longest active streak in the NFL to start a career.
