--QB Mark Brunell needed five stitches on the tip of his left elbow Sunday to close a wound he suffered when the elbow hit the turf in the first quarter of the Indianapolis game. He will be reevaluated Wednesday, but coach Jack Del Rio said he might not name a starter until Sunday morning for the Houston game.
--LB Keith Mitchell missed the Indianapolis game with a
neck injury and hasn't been cleared to play yet.
--DB Kiwaukee Thomas missed the Indianapolis game with a groin injury and will be examined
--LB Eric Westmoreland, who missed the Indianapolis
game with a knee injury, is supposed to practice Wednesday. Coach Jack Del Rio
said he was close to being ready last week and hopes he'll play this
--WR Micah Ross, a gunner on special teams who hasn't
played since suffering an ankle injury on the opening kickoff of the opener, is
supposed to return to practice Wednesday.
--DB James Trapp
returned to action against Indianapolis after missing the first two games with
an ankle injury. He tweaked the ankle against the Colts, but it is not believed
to be serious.
