Second-year running back Willis McGahee performed very well in practice sessions and appears to have lost no speed, quickness, or cutting ability following reconstructive knee surgery, which caused the former Miami Hurricanes standout back from contributing in the 2003 season. The team is taking a wait and see approach to the health of McGahee until he goes through significant contact, in training camp.
The Bills continue to court former Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Jason Gildon. Gildon has met with team officials on at least one occasion and the team has kept in contact with the former All-Pro.
