Cotton Bowl Prospects

Cotton Bowl, 1/1: Oklahoma-Arkansas

A great match-up between former SWC foes and an old rivalry that rings true for college fans from the ‘60's.

Razorback Cedric Cobbs is making gestures that he'll leave for the draft, a huge mistake after a disappointing season. The light may have finally gone on for defensive end Carlos Hall, a gifted athlete that must learn to become a football player while Jermaine Petty is getting high grades since moving from the defensive line to linebacker.

The OU defense is laced with solid talent; Rocky Calmus will be all over the field making tackles and watch converted receiver Andre Wolfolk, now a force on the corner.  Safety Roy Williams is a combination of both.  A pair of lesser knowns to watch are Josh Norman and Corey Heinecke, two hard working and servicable players.

Oklahoma: Rocky Calmus/ILB,Howard Duncan/T, Curtis Fagan/WR, Jeff Ferguson/P, Corey Heinecke/DE, Bary Holleyman/DT, Brandon Moore/OLB, Josh Norman/FB, Frank Romero/G, Antwone Savage/WR, Trent Smith/TE, Roy Williams/S, Andre Wolfolk/CB

Arkansas: Cedric Cobbs/RB, Curt Davis/DT, Carlos Hall/DE, Corey Harris/S, Josh Melton/C, Shannon Money/T, Jermiane Petty/ILB, Kenny Sandlin/G, La'zerius White/G
