Name: Walter Reyes School: Syracuse
Ht: 5-9 Wt: 200 40: 4.43
The Good: Patient runner with outstanding vision and instincts. Quick
footed, immediately finds the open area in the defense and has a burst through
the hole. Displays almost a sixth sense finding running lanes and follows blocks
at the line of scrimmage or down the field. Runs low with balance, keeps his
feet off the initial hit yet at the same time has a darting style which enables
him to sidestep defenders and pick up yardage when seemingly nothing is
available. Natural receiver out of the backfield.
The Bad: Though he times well in the 40, does not always play to that
speed on the field. Not a heavy-duty back.
The Skinny: A productive collegiate runner, Reyes is setting himself up
to be one of the better third-own backs available in next April's draft. His
great field sense coupled with the ability to catch the ball out of the
backfield makes him a justifiable selection in late part of day one in next
