Scouting Report: Ben Hall

Scouting Report: Ben Hall

Full Name:  Ben Hall  School: Clemson

Ht: 6-4.5  Wt: 259  40: 4.89

The Good:  Solid athlete who must pull the pieces together relatively soon.  Displays soft hands as a receiver, runs well and accelerates in the open field.  Strong at the point, gives effort blocking and gets results.  Plays faster then the listed forty time.

The Bad: Rarely used in the passing offense.  Disappointed coaches his first three years in the program and did not move into the starting lineup until 2004.  Suffered off-the-field issues in the past.

The Skinny: Labeled an enigma by some, Hall is considered an underachiever in NFL scouting circles and someone they've been waiting to see breakout.  Possessing the size to be a complete tight end, Hall has displayed flashes yet little consistency the past three seasons.  The light must quickly go on and he must immediately live up to  potential to have any shot of sticking at the next level.
